| The three figures on this page are based on an article by C. Andrade Jr., published in "The RUDDDER" of July, 1917. I decided to put them on one page to show the ingenious sail rigging. This was after putting on the web my own page of a 1988 cruise on the Huangpu River ("Soochow Creek") in Shanghai, when we saw only very few of these craft, including one with sails so shabby they almost appeared transparent!
