We boarded a small boat which we anchored offshore to prepare for the first dive using Dave's U.W.movie camera. The water, however, was so turbid that the two divers could only hear but not see or even find each other...

This might have been because of a concrete block we had tied some ten feet from the anchor so it would hold better; so one diver thought the anchorline ended at the block, the other at the anchor. Nevertheless, Dave (left) realized that UW movie making would not work in the Dutch surfzone - end of this part of project.
