September, 1960 driving from WHOI to SIO

All alone, I drove my jeep from Salt Lake City to La Jolla. On the way, I saw some of the most fantastic scenery, Bryce and Zion Canyons.
I also spent a night in Las Vegas and even won some dollars. I was looking forward to California,
but probably was a century off, because I thought of building a cabin somewhere near the shore close to Scripps...

		I wonder how many men have the presence of mind to take a picture while doing this?
