The stretch of PA Route 230 from Harrisburg to Elizabethtown has been effectively "by-passed" by Route 283 for more than a decade. This Sunday, I decided to drive it on my way home to Millersville, PA, from a brief trip to South Carolina. I was surprised at the number of changes on and along this road which was always marked by its variety of features.
