| More testing of the navigation system ensued and Klipbok was used to ferry materials and equipment from Rockeater to shore party. We also tested the vibrocore once again; work stopped at 18:30 and some Laurel and Hardy movies were shown. |
| Saturday, October 17, 1964: Completed line 125, tested the isotope and the hydrofix. Found quite a number of diamonds in 5 samples at 10m spacing. The vibro-corer got bent once more, and we "honored the weekend" by sailing to line 1819 where we anchored for the night. |
