INVENTION OF CIGARETTE FILTERS
SURELY SPOILED A GOOD OLD JOKE
when I was in Grammar School in the early
1940's, my favorite joke was to tell people
it took seven butts and a piece of paper
to roll a "fresh" cigarette.
Next, I would ask them how many cigarettes
you could get out of 49 butts?

It's a pity that someone invented cigarette
filters and thus unwittingly spoiled the super
riddle I would have concocted based on the
statistics in the table at the top!

Furthermore, recycling the Lake Erie coastal
and littoral butts would most likely need
intensive desiccation and desalination, right?

So let's skip the tough computation ;o]
