All the way from Dryden, ONT, across the entire province of Manitoba - including Winnipeg with its Red River and "Duff's Ditch" - and as far as Regina [below] in the next province of Saskatchewan, I got one single lift in a VW bus with a
charming couple, Burt and Betty [below left], from Oregon! August 6 and 7 and camping out. Strangely, they first passed me 3 times, then did not have the heart to do it a 4th .....so with the addition of myself - Ben - we really alliterated! |
