It was still overcast and rained occasionally while we drove the first stretch in friendly "Transkei" on our way to Butterworth.
I was excited to be in reach of "my" target, the "Wild Coast", but one fellow traveler expressed the opinion hat the folks in Butterworth were just "milling around aimlessly."

We also enjoyed the story of a friend who "hi-jacked" a truck, no, wrong word: "jack-knived" it...
