After watching on TV Pres.Bush ducking a shoe thrown by an Iraqi journalist, I had a fine omelette and departed at 07:45, odometer 022874, reaching lovely quiet Adelaide some 60 kms further west. Ran into some ceremonially whitened young men and also some sugggestive names like Tarkastad, Baviaansrivierberge and Daggaboer on the way to Bedford, then Cookhouse and Great Fish River where I got onto the Blue Crane Route laid out by Cacadu Tourism ...? and made mysterious note "Jij Weet Moos".. just before I got to Somerset Oos (East) at 09:50, odo 023022, where I tanked up 30.4 liters for R 220, and made a very welcome visit to a clean BP bathroom.
