Paris to Philadelphia |
| We arrived at Charles de Gaulle in late morning and the check-in was easy. The walkways were endless but spectacular (below) and I had the pleasure to meet the invisible man. The flight was delayed from 12:30 to 13:30, so I had a sandwich and chat with a Manchester Soccer Coach, mainly about the results of Dutch and French votes on recent EU referenda. We were then hoarded on a closed bus of which the driver refused to open the door when he arrived at the plane till I knocked on his window and made a sign slashing my throat, because one of the lady passengers had run out of air and was about to faint. |

I had a bulkhead seat across from Stephanie the lovely airhostess and next to charming Chantelle who was to visit her children and grandchildren in the USA. |
