| After a good siesta and a shower, I took the bus to Ferenc Square (below) and walked through one of the main shopping streets (below, right) in the direction of the Opera. Partway I stopped in the pleasant "Corso Etterem" restaurant for a beer, dinner and music. |

| A few minutes later I arrived at the "List Ferenc Zeneakademia" where I met Anik and Edina and helped them sell tickets for tonight's performance. |

| Their English was very good, but I was baffled to hear Edina say "What the hell do you call this?" without flinching: apparently they had been exposed to a VA teacher's "contemporary English." By 20:30 they left and I went inside. - - next page |
