| Saw the last of the Croatian man on the microbus who had lived in the USA for 30 years and called George Bush and Bill Clinton worse war-criminals than Adolph Hitler, but furthermore had been quite pleasant and helpful. A sturdy English speaking Hotel Management student first took me to nearby Hotel Cesare to see if I could use their Email, then to an Internet Cafe where I had to wait till a couple from Philadelphia (!) finished. While reading lota of E-mails my ears were attacked by loud shouts of enthousiasm and lust for gore of a dozen teenagers playing rather realistic wargames. Decided on the spot that I preferred it to the real thing. |

| Between a late lunch of calfsoup and cheese salad served with hot sugared milk and a late dinner of fish soup and too much tasty ham (doggybag), I walked and climbed through the attractive old town taking dozens of photographs. Unfortunately, one cardful got lost whence the need to use the photos above gathered from the Internet with thanks to the owners! |
