Wednesday, June 2: After Kilkee, I drove inland past gravelpits and broken stonewalls to the next port, Doonbeg. Here I made a stop in a public building to read and write my Email. Also saw a notice that smoking in public buildings (and pubs) is prohibited since March 29, 2004.

My next stop was at 13:00 at Quilty, where I had hoped to eat some oysters for lunch, but the restaurant was loaded with French tourists descending from tour buses.
