After the cruise through WUXI, we had a good presentation about the history of the Grand Canal and an excellent lunch, and if this was not enough, we actually sailed all the way to Suzhou! We arrived there at 15:00 and were welcomed by our new guide, Charlie Wong, who took us by bus to the new Suzhou Hotel. Abe Brown gushed that this day had been the most interesting trip in his 80 years!
