I was reaching the end of my splendid Kruger Park adventure, punctuated by some fresh steaming piles of elephant dung on the road, another set of pictures of the most common types of deer, an impressive muscular Kudu, and a final visit to another hippo-pool. Along the Crocodile River, luscious green marula trees strongly contrasted with the more barren trees in the veld. I left the Park by the Crocodile Bridge and raced on some 25 kms to Komatipoort at the border with Moçambique where I arrived at 16:00
