| I left Pretoriuskop at 09:40 with R 7 in souvenirs,
and crossed the rather barren Jack of the Bushveld
so named after the 1885 Trek. I noticed that most trees here have thorns and strange shapes which sometimes make them look like large animals. I arrived at Skukuza camp at noon, wrote a postcard to Fran Shepard, my SIO advisor, and had a R 0.18 lunch consisting of a soft drink, 2 cold sandwiches, and a third with warm meat + a roll of peppermint! |
