1965 SOUTH AFRICA TOUR : Ben Oostdam, October 4, page 9

When I got up at 05:00, Gaby was already working and handed me a mug of strong coffee. We drove in his pickup through the cold morning and dense forest, and we saw several types of deer. We stopped at the pulp factory which boasted a cable way to carry logs across deep ravines, where "bobbejaans" played around. There also was a deserted gold mine. I was introduced to the German boss, Herr Scheffler and his Frisian assistant Humme Post hailing from Heerenveen.
