| After farewells, I departed Capetown at 07:30 (mileage 13,442), taking two friends, Saki and Jan, for a ride to Van Rhynsdorp (11:00).On the way, I stopped to take photographs of some interesting road cuts and of the spectacular Olifants River valley. Then followed the lonely pass to Calvinia, where I had a brief lunch served by a waitress in even briefer miniskirt. |
