Sunday, July 28, continued: Around 13:00 we descended following some hairpin curves into charming and quiet La Spezia, located north of Pisa |

There were broad avenues and flowers along the harbor. We found a restaurant where each of us managed to eat a half a plateful of thick minestrone; I had a beer and coffee, Rose a glass of water and some fruit, for a total of 900 lires. |
