After some 30 kms, I came to Ninh Hoa junction with Route 21 going inland and into the mountains to Ban Ma Thuot - eventually, but further north yet, I should take a road across to get into Laos, as per plan. The scenery was fascinating, flat pieces and I even think I saw saltpans, ricefields, then mountains again, along the Old Mandarin Road.. |
